These bollards are operated by manually pushing down on the column and locking it into retraction. They are raised by first unlocking the mechanism, applying light pressure down, and the bollard uses compressed air pressure to raise itself fully.

Each bollard required own pit to be dug (no trench required)
Installation cost varies depending on driveway finish, terrain, utility allowances etc ($600 and up per bollard, typically)

These bollards are operated by manually by unlocking it and letting gravity pull it down into its sheath and locking in. They are raised by first unlocking the mechanism, and pulling it up, twisting into locking position and using your unique key to lock it in.

Operated by gravity on the way down, operator pulling it into position on the way up.
